Rosie drove out to Long Island this past Sunday, picked up her Mom and brought her back to stay with us in Long Valley. Really makes the logistics of getting to Newark's Liberty International airport much simpler all around.

Still plenty to do before departure - not to mention staying focused on work, for both of us, and getting as much done and positioned for picking up/reassuming upon our return to reality. :-) The 'over and under' figure for the number of e-mails I will have in my inbox is: 500. Taking bets!

On the trip front, I still haven't packed. Rosie is partially packed and Rose is mostly packed. Ordered some Euros via my bank's website and will pick those up later today. This evening we'll call our taxi service, Terry's, for pick up mid-afternoon Thursday for our ride to the airport. We're all working hard to efficiently pack our suitcases for the 9 day trip. Challenging to say the least. I'm planning on at least 1 'laundry' day during the trip.
We've definitely got a full plate on our trip itinerary and it's been fun in the evenings just talking about what we will see/do/visit, breaking out the map to review our overall route and, most interesting, listening to Rosie and Rose reminisce about past trips to Ireland. Rosie's also been exchanging e-mails with her cousins in Waterford (I'd write down their names but, not quite sure how to correctly spell them at the moment :-) ). Believe they're as excited as we are about the trip and our pending visit with them.
Slan go foill (goodbye for now)
Everything is coming together so well it sounds! Conor and I cant wait to read more about Ireland!
